A major collaboration between PUBG and influencer Rakhim.
As the costume designer, I was responsible
for bringing the approved concept
from the Chinese client team to life with complete accuracy.
Every element of the outfit had to precisely match the design
from texture to silhouette.
The entire costume was produced within five days.
One of the most ambitious projects in my career
- 5:32, a series based on real events.
Each episode tells the story of serial killers
who operated in Kazakhstan in the early 1990s.
The non-linear narrative made costume design especially challenging:
filming took place out of sequence, demanding precise continuity,
duplicate costumes, and detailed planning.
I was also responsible for creating realistic blood effects,
developing authentic 1990s Kazakh looks,
curating mood boards for every character,
and producing over 70 costumes within a short deadline.
A large-scale commercial for the Kia EV9
featuring renowned comedian and artist Yevgeniy Chebatkov.
My goal was to merge a futuristic aesthetic
with subtle Kazakh cultural motifs. The process included sketching
and design approval, material selection, and final tailoring.
The vest was crafted from dense velour
with hand-embroidered Kazakh ornaments padded for a 3D effect.
The double-layered shirt featured futuristic sleeves,
while the trousers were made from heavy suiting fabric
with a detachable wide belt.
The full look - from concept to final fitting -
was completed in just 6-7 days.
